Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have successfully recovered a significant amount of illicit drugs from an abandoned Toyota Sienna vehicle. The recovery occurred during a routine search operation, although the driver managed to flee the scene prior to the police's arrival. The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, provided details of the incident in a statement released on Tuesday, emphasizing the ongoing efforts of the police to combat drug-related crimes in the region. Further investigations are underway to apprehend the individual responsible for the abandoned vehicle.
