The Senate has cleared the Nigeria Customs Service of an audit infraction amounting to N62.2 billion, following a review of the agency's financial activities. In addition to this decision, the Senate has established a reconciliation panel tasked with examining 76 other outstanding audit queries. Furthermore, the Senate clarified that levies collected on behalf of other agencies should not be included in the Federation Account, emphasizing the need for proper financial delineation.
