Stakeholders in Nigeria's broadcasting sector have reached a consensus on adopting a hybrid digital broadcasting model for the country's Digital Switch Over (DSO) programme. This model integrates Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite services, and digital application-based platforms. The decision was made during a high-level meeting organized by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and overseen by the Federal Ministry. This endorsement aims to enhance the accessibility and quality of broadcasting services across Nigeria.
