The World Bank Group and the African Development Bank Group have reported that their initiative, Mission 300, has successfully connected over 50 million individuals to electricity in 40 countries, including Nigeria. According to a statement released yesterday, the program is now providing electricity access at nearly double the rate compared to the beginning of the initiative. The statement emphasized the importance of continued investment in energy infrastructure to enhance access to electricity across the participating nations.
