The Federal High Court in Abuja, under the leadership of Hon. Justice M. G. Umar, has dismissed an application from Ihuoma Julia Nneji, who sought to nullify a warrant of arrest issued against her. The warrant, which was granted by the court on 16 April 2025, stems from allegations of criminal defamation, injurious falsehood, and cyberstalking involving Barr. Henry Uzochukwu, a lawyer based in Abuja. In the ruling delivered on 16 June 2026, the court determined that there was no merit in Ms. Nneji's request and reaffirmed the validity of the warrant, instructing her to present herself to the police for further investigation. The court's decision underscores the authority of law enforcement to execute their duties without interference.
