This clarification comes in the wake of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) Article IV Consultation Report, which suggested potential fiscal adjustments in Nigeria. Maryann Duke, the Senior Special Assistant on Communications and Press Secretary to the Minister, emphasized that the government has no plans to implement these tax changes at this time. The statement aims to alleviate concerns among the public and stakeholders in the telecom and fuel sectors.
