The Katsina State Government has implemented a series of measures aimed at addressing rising insecurity in the region. All Point of Sale (POS) businesses and commercial phone charging centres in the Matazu and Musawa Local Government Areas have been ordered to close immediately. Additionally, the government has prohibited the sale, purchase, transportation, and storage of petroleum products in jerrycans throughout the state, alongside a ban on the use of motorcycles. These actions are part of the government's efforts to enhance security and curb criminal activities.
