A High Court in Kogi State has handed down a death sentence to an individual found guilty of kidnapping and murdering his neighbor. The prosecution was carried out by the Department of State Services (DSS), which presented evidence leading to the conviction. This ruling follows closely on the heels of a similar death sentence issued by a Katsina State High Court to a female arms courier apprehended by the DSS. The Kogi State case was presided over by Justice Abdul Nicodemus.
