Troops from the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, operating under the 2 Division, have successfully rescued five individuals who were kidnapped and left behind by fleeing terrorists during ongoing counter-terrorism operations in Kogi State. The rescue operation was confirmed by Lieutenant Hassan Abdullahi, the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations for the 12 Brigade, in an official statement. The military's sustained efforts in the region have led to the interception of the terrorists, resulting in the safe recovery of the victims.
