Nigeria's external reserves have experienced a significant increase of over $1 billion within the first two weeks of June 2026, building on the positive trend observed in May. According to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the gross external reserves rose from $49.80 billion on June 1 to $50.81 billion by June 15. This upward movement in reserves reflects the country's ongoing efforts to stabilize its foreign exchange position.
