The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has initiated a consultancy study to determine the Mobile Termination Rates (MTR) in Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of this exercise in adapting telecommunications regulation to current market dynamics. During the Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum on MTR, the Head of the NCC highlighted the need for industry input to ensure that the regulatory framework reflects the realities of the telecommunications sector. This review is expected to facilitate a more equitable and efficient telecommunications environment in the country.
