The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully transported sensitive electoral materials to Ekiti State and other locations in preparation for the governorship election and additional off-cycle polls set for Saturday, June 20, 2026. This operation took place from June 15 to 16, in response to a request from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the secure movement of these critical materials. The airlift aims to ensure that all necessary resources are in place for a smooth electoral process.
