Residents of the Afokang area in Calabar South Local Government Area have raised concerns regarding the presence of suspected criminals allegedly residing in shops and properties surrounding the Nigerian Correctional Service facility. They have called on the federal government to consider relocating the prison to a less populated area to enhance community safety. Additionally, the residents have accused the Nigerian Correctional Service of neglecting to address the activities of other suspected criminals in the vicinity.
