Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has raised concerns regarding the involvement of external collaborators in criminal activities within the state. He stated that some criminals are importing individuals from outside Edo to aid in their operations, particularly in cases of kidnapping. According to the Governor, these external accomplices often take control of kidnapped victims following abductions, complicating law enforcement efforts. He also cautioned religious leaders against advocating for the release of suspects arrested in connection with these crimes.
