A two-week-old baby boy, who was found abandoned at a local shrine in the Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, has been successfully rescued by the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Rivers State branch, in partnership with local police authorities. Tamunoibuemi Life-George, the state Chairperson of FIDA, shared the details of the rescue operation on Tuesday, highlighting the collaborative efforts that led to the infant's safe recovery. The baby is currently receiving necessary medical attention and care following the incident. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the abandonment to ensure the child's future safety and well-being.
