The Federal Government has announced the establishment of an aircraft leasing company that will provide tax holidays to domestic airlines. This initiative follows President Bola Tinubu's decision to waive 30% of taxes and agency fees owed by these airlines. Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, confirmed that this move is aimed at supporting the aviation sector and enhancing its operational capacity. The tax relief is expected to alleviate financial burdens on domestic carriers and promote growth within the industry.
