NAPTIP rescues 96 trafficked Benue children

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has successfully rescued 96 children who were victims of trafficking in Benue State. During a press briefing in Makurdi, the newly appointed Zonal Commander, Mrs. Hembadoom Kuma, announced that 84 of the rescued children have been reunited with their families. This operation highlights NAPTIP's ongoing commitment to combating human trafficking and protecting vulnerable children in the region. The agency continues to work towards ensuring the safety and welfare of trafficked individuals while raising awareness about the issue.
