ECOWAS targets 48% renewable energy by 2030

The ECOWAS Commission has announced an ambitious goal to enhance the proportion of renewable energy in the electricity mix of the region to 48 percent by the year 2030. This announcement was made by Hon. Abdou Kolley, the Director of Cabinet in the Office of the President of the ECOWAS Commission, through a representative, Mr. Williams Baidoe.
