The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) recently conducted a thirteen-day training program in Sharya Township, Duhok Governorate, aimed at enhancing employability through digital technology skills. Funded by the Austrian Government, the initiative brought together 25 participants, including 16 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and 9 individuals from the host community, to receive instruction in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, and Entrepreneurship Development. The program emphasized practical skills and problem-solving techniques, fostering a shift in mindset among participants towards a more structured approach to technical challenges. In addition to technical training, the Entrepreneurship Development Program equipped trainees with the tools to translate their skills into viable business opportunities, ultimately supporting their economic resilience in the face of ongoing challenges.
