Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), received a warm welcome from a large crowd of supporters during his visit to the party's office in Bichi Local Government, Kano State. This visit followed his condolence trip to the family of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar in Katsina. Video footage shared online showed enthusiastic supporters gathering at the NDC headquarters, chanting and displaying banners in support of Kwankwaso, who is also the leader of the Kwankwassiyya Movement. In a post on his Facebook page, Kwankwaso expressed his gratitude for the reception, emphasizing the strong grassroots support he enjoys in Kano, which is crucial for the NDC as it prepares for the upcoming 2027 elections.
