The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC Ltd.) has officially renewed its partnership with TotalEnergies, extending their agreement for an additional 24 months. This collaboration focuses on the deployment of advanced technologies aimed at detecting, measuring, and reducing methane and carbon emissions. The renewal agreement was formalized on Wednesday, with NNPC Ltd.'s Executive Vice President for Upstream, Udy Ntia, and TotalEnergies Country Chair and Managing Director, Matthieu Bouyer, signing the document. This initiative underscores both companies' commitment to environmental sustainability and the reduction of greenhouse gases in the oil and gas sector.
