Professor Christopher Nyong Ekong has officially assumed the role of the 9th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) in Akwa Ibom State. He succeeds Professor Samuel Adewumi, who served as the acting Vice Chancellor during a recent succession crisis at the institution.
