The Nigeria Police Force, via the National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC), has apprehended five additional suspects in connection with a telecom data fraud case involving an alleged sum of N7.7 billion. This recent operation builds upon the earlier arrest of six individuals in January 2026, marking a significant development in the ongoing investigation. In the course of these arrests, law enforcement officials recovered N90 million in cash and several properties believed to be linked to the fraudulent activities. The police continue to pursue leads in this extensive case to ensure all involved parties are brought to justice.
