The State Security Service (SSS) has expressed support for a proposed trust fund bill while advocating for a ban on foreign donations to enhance national security. In addition, the agency cautioned lawmakers regarding potential institutional overlap in a separate legislative proposal aimed at establishing a strategic intelligence training institute. The SSS urged that the mandate of this institute be clearly defined to concentrate on external intelligence operations, thereby ensuring a more focused approach to national security governance reforms.
