The federal government has introduced a National Regional Development Policy designed to enhance the functionality of regional development commissions and improve development planning nationwide. Abubakar Momoh, the Minister of Regional Development, made the announcement on Thursday following a briefing to the National Economic Council (NEC), where he was accompanied by the Minister of State. This policy is expected to provide a structured approach to regional development initiatives and foster coordinated efforts in addressing developmental challenges across various regions of the country.
