Troops destroy terrorist camps in Katsina forest, rescue kidnap victim

Troops of the Nigerian Army, as part of Operation CLEAN SWEEP, have successfully destroyed multiple terrorist camps located in the Katsina forest. The operation was executed by the 17 Brigade Strike Group and Quick Response Force, with additional support from the 8 Division Special Forces. During this mission, the troops were also able to rescue a victim who had been kidnapped, according to an operational report detailing the achievements of the ongoing military efforts in the region.
