Six individuals have been brought before an Akure Magistrate’s Court in Ondo State, facing charges related to the alleged theft of cocoa beans valued at N200 million. The accused, identified as Florunsho Michael Itapere, 44; Kehinde Ola Omotayo, 33; Kole Moses, 33; Femi Babatunde, 37; Adebiyi Abiodun Michael, 47; and Adewoye Akingbola, 59, were formally arraigned in connection with the incident. The court proceedings are part of an ongoing investigation into the theft, which has raised concerns within the local agricultural community.
