The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW) has announced measures to enhance security protocols for armories within government agencies, aiming to combat the spread of illicit arms in Nigeria. During a graduation ceremony for participants of the Physical Security and Stockpile Management course in Abuja, Director-General Retired DIG Johnson Kokumo emphasized the importance of these security enhancements. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to ensure that weapons are properly managed and safeguarded against unauthorized access, thereby contributing to national security efforts.
