Released by Credit Direct in June 2026, the report highlights a disparity in financial inclusion, with over 64 percent of Nigerian adults being financially included yet facing barriers to accessing formal credit. The findings suggest that despite advancements in financial inclusion, the penetration of formal credit services remains critically low across the country.
