A two-day capacity-building programme held in Kano State has successfully trained 20 female journalists in practical artificial intelligence skills tailored for contemporary newsroom operations. The initiative was organized by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Bauchi State Chapter, in collaboration with the Bauchi State Government and the Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD). The training sessions not only focused on AI applications but also emphasized essential leadership and management skills, providing participants with a comprehensive skill set for enhancing their journalistic practices.
