Gernot Rohr, the former coach of the Super Eagles, has attributed Nigeria's inability to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to a lackluster performance at the beginning of the qualifiers. According to Rohr, the team's poor start significantly hindered their chances of securing a spot in the tournament. The World Cup, which commenced last week, features 48 teams competing for the prestigious title, marking the largest edition of the tournament to date.
