Nigeria's external reserves have increased by $5.47 billion, reaching a total of $51.035 billion as of June 18, 2026. This marks the first time the reserves have surpassed the $50 billion threshold since recently crossing it. The current level of reserves is the highest recorded since January 20, 2009, when they were at a lower figure. The 30-day moving average indicates a positive trend in the country's foreign reserves accumulation for the year.
