Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Ilorin zonal directorate have apprehended Adegoke Adams, a Nigerian-American, in connection with a cross-border vehicle import fraud exceeding $320,000. The arrest follows allegations of criminal breach of trust and obtaining money by false pretence. Adams, who possesses dual citizenship in Nigeria and the United States, is currently under investigation as the EFCC seeks to uncover further details related to the fraudulent activities.
