Mrs. Beatrice Idebasun, an Edo-born woman, has appealed to Canadian authorities to investigate her claims of abandonment by her estranged husband, Mr. Efosa Surprise Okoro. She alleges that Okoro utilized their marriage as a pathway to relocate to Canada and subsequently cut off all communication with her. Idebasun stated that their relationship initially began as a friendship before evolving into a marital bond, which she now believes was exploited for his personal gain.
