Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL) reported that Nigeria's crude oil production has surpassed the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) quota, attributing this increase to enhanced pipeline security measures, better community engagement, and a reduction in oil theft incidents. This announcement was made during a stakeholders’ engagement forum held in Yenogoa, which brought together community leaders, security agencies, traditional rulers, government representatives, and industry stakeholders. The collaborative efforts among these groups have been instrumental in stabilizing production levels and addressing the challenges previously faced in the oil sector.
