The Federal Government has allocated N111 billion for the construction of Section One of the Akwanga-Jos Road, as announced by the Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi. This funding release was confirmed during an inspection of Sections One and Two of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, which took place on Friday evening. The minister indicated that the flag-off for the Akwanga-Jos highway project is scheduled for July 1. This initiative is part of the government's broader efforts to enhance infrastructure across the country.
