Philip Johnson, a former governorship aspirant for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) in Taraba State, has officially resigned from the party. In his resignation letter directed to the Taraba State Chairman of the NDC, Johnson claimed that the recent governorship primary election was manipulated to undermine his candidacy. He asserted that he had legitimately won the primary election, which was conducted statewide, but felt that the results were not reflective of the true outcome.
