Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended Adegoke Oluwatobi Adams, a Nigerian-American, for his alleged involvement in a vehicle import fraud scheme. The case centers around the importation of a Mercedes-Benz, with the total amount involved exceeding $320,000, which is approximately ₦434.88 million. The EFCC has stated that the arrest is part of its ongoing efforts to combat financial crimes and fraudulent activities within the country.
