The Kano State Hisbah Board has warned that it will embark on a massive crackdown on immoral acts across the state under a new initiative tagged “Operation Kano First”. Deputy Commander-General of the Board, Mujahid Aminuddeen, issued the warning shortly after Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf donated 10 operational vehicles and 50 motorcycles to reinforce Hisbah’s activities. “People who go out doing different immoral acts in Kano should know that Hisbah has commenced ‘Operation Kano First’ and anybody caught will be arrested and face the wrath of the law,” Aminuddeen said. The latest donation of vehicles and motorcycles is expected to boost its mobility and presence across local government areas, particularly in monitoring public spaces and responding to complaints.
