But every once in a while, I come across a brand that promises to solve my woes. Harper Wilde has built a reputation for affordable, minimalist, comfort-first bras with practical features. To find out whether it lives up to that reputation, I wore a handful of the brand's top-selling styles through running errands, lounging at home, and sleeping. Which Harper Wilde bra is best? This all depends on your needs. Here's how I'd rank my go-tos:ComfortMesh Plunge Bra: best for lift and separationBase T-Shirt Bra: best for shaping and coverageBlissSmooth Bralette: best lounge and sleep braCloud Cotton Plunge Bralette: best everyday wireless As a style writer who regularly tests clothing, I've learned that intimates are one of the hardest categories to get right. The bras and underwear that technically perform well often aren't especially comfortable, while the pieces I actually want to wear often leave me yearning for more coverage or support (or worse, show through my clothing).Harper Wilde promises to make pieces you "wear constantly and think about rarely." After testing 10 of the brand's bras and underwear styles over several weeks, I can confidently say that many of them delivered. To help you decide which pieces are worth adding to your drawer, here's my honest review of every style I tried. For more bras and underwear coverage, see our articles on the best cotton underwear, the best bralettes for large busts, and more. The luxurious Bliss fabric reminds me of stretchy silk, and thanks to the extra-wide straps and band, it never once came close to digging into my skin. Also, the wider straps and taller band make this bralette surprisingly supportive, despite the fact that they aren't adjustable. My only concern with the lack of adjustability is whether the straps and band will stretch out over time — but so far, this one continues to fit flawlessly after a few wears and washes.Bliss Triangle Bralette reviewRebecca Strong/Business Insider Pros:Adjustable and front-adjusting strapsSizes L—4XL feature a higher center front for added supportAround a dozen color optionsLow backCons:Cups might not offer enough coverage for particularly large bustsThe band isn't adjustable Historically, I've avoided triangle bras — they just aren't the most practical style for someone with a very full bust. That said, this one surpassed my expectations. I didn't feel like I was spilling out of the cups, despite the fact that they're cut more narrow. This bralette is definitely better suited for lounging, being that it provides minimal lift and slightly less coverage. Still, it's a nice option for low-cut tops, and actually offered decent separation considering there's no wire.Bliss Plunge Adjustable Bralette reviewRebecca Strong/Business Insider Pros:Lots of color optionsAdjustable straps and bandPlunging neckline works for lower-cut topsCons:Straps can only be tightened to a certain point If you have a closet full of low-cut tops, this adjustable plunge bralette is a godsend — as long as you don't mind going wire-free.It has the same buttery Bliss fabric I've come to love, and fortunately, both the straps and band are adjustable for customized support. All that said, the one pitfall here is that the straps didn't seem to tighten as far as I needed them to. This isn't really an uncommon issue for me, so I might chalk it up to my shorter torso and somewhat sloping shoulders—but still worth noting.Cloud Cotton Plunge Bralette reviewRebecca Strong/Business Insider Pros:BreathableExtra-wide bandAdjustable strapsDeep necklineCons:The band isn't adjustable I'll admit, when I saw that this bralette had a fixed band, I expected limited support. But as it turned out, I felt very muc
