Existing subscribers will see the price hikes reflected in their next bill on or after September 17.Peacock Premium has gone from $10.99 a month to $12.99 a month ($109.99 a year to $129.99 a year), while Peacock Premium Plus has faced the most significant hike, increasing from $16.99 a month to $19.99 a month ($169.99 a year to $199.99 a year).Peacock Select, the platform's pared-down and budget-friendly option introduced after last year's price hike, has also increased in price. Monthly plans have risen from $7.99 a month to $8.99 a month, and annual plans have gone up from $79.99 a year to $89.99 a year. This is just the latest price hike from Peacock, following annual increases in July 2025 and 2024. First launched in 2020, the streaming platform initially served as an easy way to stream NBC favorites, including "The Office" and "Law & Order: SVU." Over the years, Peacock has made an effort in the original TV scene with shows like "Poker Face," "The Traitors (US)," and "All Her Fault." The platform has also acquired the rights to live stream several sporting events and has become an absolute hub for Bravo programming, as well as select films.Peacock isn't alone in hiking prices as its catalog grows, and most comparable streaming services have also raised subscription fees at least once over the past couple of years. The most recent increases came from Paramount Plus and Netflix earlier in the year. However, the latest round of price hikes makes Peacock's ad-free tier one of the more expensive options on the market.Ad-free Netflix plans cost $19.99 to $26.99 a month, while ad-free HBO Max plans cost $18.49 to $22.99 a month. Disney Plus and Hulu's ad-free tiers are $18.99 a month each (or $19.99 a month when bundled together in one of the Disney Plus bundles). Paramount Plus, which is the most similar option to Peacock in terms of breadth of offerings, has plans ranging from $8.99 a month (ad-supported) to $13.99 a month (ad-free).Peacock is also available in a bundle with Apple TV, which didn't receive a price hike. The Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle costs $14.99 a month, and the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle costs $19.99 a month. Given that the latter hasn't seen a price hike yet, it's an excellent deal, since customers can get two ad-free streaming services for the same price as stand-alone Peacock Premium Plus.
