China sentences Evergrande founder to life in prison

Hui Ka Yan, founder of China's collapsed property giant Evergrande, has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to financial crimes. The Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court found him guilty of embezzlement and corporate bribery. His personal property has been confiscated, and former companies were fined.
