Merck Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Merck KGaA Germany, has provided nearly 1,000 scholarships for healthcare providers from 52 countries. The scholarships support One-Year Online PG Diplomas and Two-Year Online Master's Degrees in fields such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Preventive Care, Endocrinology, and Cardiology. The initiative is part of the Nationwide Diabetes & Hypertension Blue Points Program, implemented with First Ladies of Africa and Asia and other partners. Senator, Dr. Rasha Kelej, CEO of Merck Foundation, emphasized the commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare education.
