The Beetle returns as Chinese Ora

The Volkswagen Beetle, a popular two-door car that ruled the auto space in the 1970s, has been revived by Chinese brand GWM with a modern look and an electric version. The cloned Beetle is known as the GWM Ora Ballet Cat, an electric hatchback with exterior styling inspired by the Volkswagen Beetle. The Ora Ballet Cat entered the Chinese market in 2022 with a price range of 193,000 to 223,000 yuan (28,480 to 32,905 USD). The new variant of this vehicle is prepared for market launch with a power boost and a new name variant.
