Peter Obi, the 2027 presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Nigerians to give him their mandate, saying Nigeria faces serious, existential challenges. Speaking at a news conference in Onitsha, Anambra, where he announced the start of campaign activities ahead of the January 16 elections, Obi expressed conviction that Nigeria can still work. He highlighted issues such as youth unemployment, weak infrastructure, unreliable power, insecurity, and high business costs.
