Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany said the club were aware of midfielder Jamal Musiala's neurological disorder long before it was made public this week. Musiala issued a statement Tuesday saying he suffers from a neurological disorder that can lead to temporary but treatable seizures, after fainting on the pitch for the second time in four days. Kompany confirmed Musiala would not play in Saturday's Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund and revealed the seizures were a result of a change in treatment. Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said the club knew about the condition for over a year and that it was Musiala's decision to go public.
