Alhaji Faizu Alfindiki, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has challenged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to explain how he would fund his promise to restore the petrol subsidy if elected president in 2027. Alfindiki made the statement in Kano on Friday, arguing that Nigerians deserve clarity on the financial implications of such a policy. He noted that while questioning government revenue management is legitimate, restoring the subsidy without a clear funding plan would not provide a lasting solution.
