The Allied Peoples' Movement (APM) has rejected the federal government's report on the spending of funds from fuel subsidy removal, claiming the actual amount is N27 trillion, not the reported N15.8 trillion. The party accused the APC administration of presenting false claims to divert attention from alleged corruption. APM also criticized the government for attempting to blame civil servants for the mismanagement of funds.
