The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has withdrawn charges against two Nigerians accused of cyberstalking and peddling malicious information against the commission. The decision followed a personal appeal from the father of one of the defendants and calls from well-meaning Nigerians for leniency. The two were arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja before the charges were withdrawn.
