Dangote Transport has deployed a real-time Driver Monitoring Control Room at its operational base in Ibese, Ogun State, to monitor truck drivers and respond promptly to unsafe behaviour. The facility was showcased to journalists during a guided tour of the company's transport operations centre. Officials said the initiative demonstrates Dangote Transport's reliance on technology and operational best practices to improve driver behaviour and reduce accident risks. Head of Operations, Mr. David Idiege, described the control room as one of the latest additions to the company's safety architecture, enabling real-time monitoring of drivers and compliance with safety standards.
